The Clock - Imported from Austrailia it ran from 1946 until 1948. "Surise and Sunset, Promise and Fulfilment, Birth and Death, The whole Drama of Life is played out in the Sands of Time" This is a great series where the main theme seems to be Retribution. Stories as told by Father Time.
The Clock originated in the U.S. and was first broadcast there.
ReplyDeleteGrace Gibson purchased the scripts and the rights to use them and then produced an Australian version of the series which was broadcast in 1955 52 x 30 minute episodes.
Grace then sold the series back to the U.S. where it was broadcast over several time periods.
Unfortunately U.S. OTR collectors continue to log the series incorrectly. They take Australian episodes, apply dates and titles belonging to the earlier U.S. series and incorrectly name the Australian episodes. I have released the correct log of Australian episodes based on the actual cost sheets (Production sheets) from Grace Gibson Productions on several occassions and still the incorrectly titled episodes continue to be circulated by people who don't do their research.
